simplistic desktop 08

my first desktop screenshot on windows. i always wanted a black theme for my xp, and i found one which matches my satisfactory. simple and clean, except for the Recycle Bin. It can be removed, but im lazy. besides, i have to go through messy steps to remove the Recycle Bin. lol.

there are some icons unavailable in White Mark Dock Icons Rel 2, like ZEN text-icon etc., so i decided to give it a shot and create a TEXT-ICON tutorial. It's quite simple.

TUTORIAL
im using Adobe Photoshop CS2. so i guess any version of the Photoshop will do.

1) create a new image, 256 pixel X 256 pixel with its background Transparent.

2) write your text with the font, Tahoma. the size, 90pt. ***four letters or less recommended***

3) move your text to the center of the background.

4) after that, make sure to change your text color to white before saving.

5) save the image as *png files.

as for the Weather Docklet and the Clock icon, it's common sense that it cannot be replaced to the TEXT ICONS.
